Program Details
Led by the Women of Customer Success community, the Outstanding Women in Customer Success award stands as a testament to the remarkable achievements of women. This global award honors women who have consistently demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and innovation, leaving an indelible mark on the ever-evolving landscape of Customer Success.
Nomination period: February 19th - March 15th 2024
Winners announced: April 2nd 2024
Location: the awards are global, all announcements will be made virtually
Nomination cost: $450 per nomination
Note: award submissions are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Eligibility
Nominees must have been working in a Customer Success/Experience leadership or senior individual contributor (IC) role for more than 12 months at their company;
Nominees must be working in the following functions:
Customer Success
Support
Onboarding
Implementation
Experience
Account Management
Nominees must have made a specific contribution to the Customer Success/Experience organization within their company and/or the tech industry as a whole - with a focus on the last 12 months;
Nominees cannot vote for themselves.
Nominations can be submitted from anywhere in the world
Judging Criteria
The following criteria will be used when judging each submission:
Demonstrated Leadership: Inspires teams with decisive leadership, fosters collaboration, and navigates challenges with resilience and integrity;
Innovation in Driving Customer Satisfaction: Pioneers creative strategies, embraces new technologies, and consistently tests innovative Customer Success methods and models;
Impact on Teams and Their Development: Mentors and empowers teams, cultivating a positive and collaborative culture, while measuring and enhancing performance;
Contributions to the Wider Customer Success Community: Actively engages in knowledge-sharing, contributes insights to industry forums, and advocates for diversity and inclusion in the Customer Success community. This could be internally or externally to their organization.
What will winners receive?
A feature in the March issue of Women of Customer Success awards & dedicated blog post celebrating winners;
International recognition by the Women of Customer Success community;
Invitations to speak at Women of Customer Success panel events in their prospective cities;
A digital award logo to share their win in any way they choose;
Dedicated Linkedin feature;
Complementary pass to the first Women of Customer Success conference in NYC, October 2024.
Who can submit a nomination?
If you would like to nominate someone for this award, please follow the steps in the next section.
If you would like to be nominated for this award, you can find our Nominators Resource Pack here to share with a nominator. This includes all of the important information about our program, eligibility criteria, and why our awards are so valuable.
You can only be nominated by someone within your company that is above your level / more senior.
This could be any of the following:
Manager
VP
Leader
C-Suite
Marketing Lead
Founder
Steps to submitting a nomination:
You cannot submit yourself for an award. If you would like to be nominated, please follow the steps below:
Share our Awards Nominators Resource PDF with any person who is eligible to nominate you (refer to the list above).
Nominators must purchase a single nomination for $450 USD using this payment link (available from 19th Feb, or via the button below) before they can access the awards submission form.
Once payment has been made, nominees can work with their nominators to fill out the awards submission form (the form will be accessible in the confirmation page after payment has been made).
If you or your nominator have any questions about the award please reach out to community@womenofcs.com.
All nominations must be submitted between Feb 19th - March 15th 2024. Any nominations made after this date will not be eligible for the award or a refund.
Once you have paid, and submitted your nomination, wait to hear back from the Women of Customer Success awards team via email by the 11th March with next steps on how to recieve your award and collaborate on your winner’s profile*.
Winners will be announced on 2nd April 2024.
*If we don’t hear back from you by 25th March 2024, we will not be able to include you in the awards list. No refunds will be made.

For award winners: Winning an "Outstanding Women in Customer Success" award helps Customer Success professionals gain industry recognition, enhances their personal brand, and helps develop their career. We have created a resource pack for your employers or preferred nominators available here. This gives nominators all of the information that they need about the program, eligibility criteria, and why awards are a valuable initiative to participate in.

Each nomination costs $450 USD. Nominators can nominate more than one person in their organization. This will cost $450 USD each time they nominate.

The nomination fee helps maintain the integrity of the awards by ensuring that only serious candidates are considered. It also helps to cover the costs of the editorial process. It takes a substantial amount of time and resources for the Women of Customer Success team to organize and evaluate nominations to determine this year's winners.

Nominations can only be submitted by others, and not oneself. We do this to ensure the highest caliber of candidates and to maintain award winner integrity.

Nominations are submitted through an online form that is made available after a nomination has been purchased. The form will require information about the nominee's accomplishments, contributions, and impact on the field of customer success.

Nominees and nominators will receive an automated email to confirm their submission. We do not provide further award progress updates. If you do not hear from the Women of CS team by March 20th, please contact community@womenofcs.com

March 15th 2024 is the last day to submit a nomination.

There will be 20-40 winners in total. There will be no runners up.

Upon receiving nominations, each submission will undergo a thorough evaluation by the Women of Customer Success awards team. We will prioritize recent achievements and professional success within the past year, although lifetime accomplishments will also be considered. The focus, however, remains on the nominee's recent impact and contributions.

In competitive awards programs, there are often many qualified nominees for a limited number of awards. As a result, not all nominees can be chosen as winners.
